I believe that every religion is good for those who want to believe in it.

Moreover there is no such thing like a bad religion. Things like religious wars weren't made by the religion they were made by humans that institutionalize a religion like "the church" -> crusades anyone? BAD BAD THING!!!!

If an Emo & goth can get along well enough to date each other, and love each other, and see past each other's veiws of religion, then so should everyone else! i agree Zados, there isnt such a thing really as bad religion. Just the way we have viewed the world..

Most of the time fashion movements like emo, goth, mosher, punk, gangstah, whatever, are adolescent ways of the middle classes defining themselves when they are of an age that they are trying to find out who they are (before they hopefully find out that is the wrong question to ask).

My opinion is go ahead, wear whatever you want, hell go to town with any kind of makeup, clothes or hairstyle. But don't start telling me that you're somehow living a live that is extraordinary or somehow more in tune with how the world works because of it.

You should also be thankful that your life is affluent enough that you can express yourself in such ways.

I'm not referring to anyone in particular here, of course. I'm just thinking about gripes I've had in the past.

Fashion of all kinds annoys me, even though I like to wear clothes that I think look good.

I must say I was lost in this topic.
It has nothing to do with religion whatsoever.
It's all about a style you adapt to fit into a group.

The thing is you are like that not because you are depressed from time to time, you're a teen, of course you're going to be depressed and in emotional turmoil...absolutely normal with all those hormones and changes going on in your development.

And of course you seek out a style and try to blend in with likeminded people.
Emo's are fashionable right now, they weren't 15 years ago, where many had really short hair and wore baseball caps with sport trousers.

It's all fashion and style you're talking about.

And munt, one thingie,
it's not the wrong question, just after they have found it, they don't need to hide behind that fashion movement and have grown up.

I agree that there are not bad religions, just bad actions. But you shouldn't want to change a person just because you don't like how they dress, or how they view life, or god, or any of that stuff. Even if it is dealing with marriage, why would you try to change who someone is? Nobody made you change! Be who ya wanna be..

Emo,Goth & Suicidal is going to happen when ppl feel the pressures of their average life are becoming to much for them to handle. Now sure I'm an asshole to Emo's & Suicidal kids because for every one that I know i know someone with 10 times the problems they got goin on, That & I find Suicide as a weak way out, I'm a man, a human I conquer my world not the other way around, had 4 kids from my home town kill themselves last week 1 that survived & is now a veggie She downed some script meds & chased em with cyanide. Is the world better off without these ppl possible did it suffer cause they ended it when they did instead of becoming what they could have been? (Most probably) The only way Suicide is acceptable to me is if you're gonna be doin life on the inside. As far as Emo kids go well A majority of them come from Middle class Families who's folks bring in 80,000-140,000(US) a year on average That's a damn good life when you are set up like that & normally parents from this social class are all about their children.How many Emo kids got to worry about whether or not their dad is comin home drunk to try & beat their mother to death & they're goin to take that ass whooping instead? Try that shit on for size for as long as I did then maybe have an excuse to be some emotional wreck didnt make me no emo though ppl got it bad all over & sure there are things for ppl to get emotional about but that doesn't mean everyday has to be a downer & find another way to let the anger out like a normal person go to a get together, Punch a perfect stranger(Stick a note in his jacket that simply reads "Sorry, I had to let some anger out.) Find a hobby anything besides wanting to draw attention with those ugly cuts on your wrist or forearm or legs. Goth is just a fashion statement anymore That's all that needs to be said about them. But you know this is just my outlook on it everyone's gonna do what they gonna do & I aint about to tell anyone this is how they got to live their life everyone is unique & more power to ya if you can care less what they gonna say about you
