if your 'lovely little girlfriend' truly loves you she will tell you to go for it, dont get hurt, and that shes supporting you 100% and if she doesnt it wasnt meant to be(:

Career comes first. You have to have money to support a girlfriend/boyfriend anyway, or you both'll survive less than 2 days, physically and mentally.
