I had no food for two days, and most areas of middle Tennessee still have no electricity. Seventeen people died in my county alone. I believe two counties still have to boil their water before drinking it, and many of the people have no dry wood or electricity! I could go on for days just about my home and those of my neighbours...

So What? America Floods All The Time. And It's Really Not That Bad.

Hahahaha..... Hahahaha..... You act as if I live in like, Iowa. Tennessee has never flooded like this. Not in 1979 when we had that hurricane. Not in 1993 in the blizzards. Not even in the earthquakes a couple hundred years ago. Nobody knows what to do. Even them old farmers been here forever never seen nothin like it. Oh and no power = no news = clueless people = more deaths. Aaaaaand two of the three water treatment plants are dead. Have you ever watched someone clinging to a tree for dear life, praying they won't drown today? And nobody has insurance for floods because floods don't happen. Especially not in may, for petes sake. And the water that does come out of the tap now tastes really bad and i'm not allowed to drink it anymore. Lalalalala.....

I Know What Most Of This Is Like, I Visit Family In Kentucky For Almost A Year Every 4 Or So Years

I remember the big snow storm on the East Coast.

I went snowboarding down a hill. It was ice...

It hurt...
Got this quote from Isabella. Thanks Isabella. :)

Hock, seriously, that wasn't just fricken Kentucky. It was the entire eastern United States. My little hometown of Waverly, Tennessee was almost entirely destroyed. It snowed in FLORIDA.

Oh, and Waverly was also hit pretty damn hard in '98 with the tornadoes. But now, THERE IS NO WAVERLY!!!
I love waverly.
I love that town so much, I know everyone, and which dog is which, and all the names of the fishing boats.
It's been completely and totally destroyed. Everyone lived at the lake because that's where there money and their food came from. All those beautiful old houses are just gone! the only building that was completely dry was the vet's office.

I miss home! I miss my lake and my cows and my trees and my heart.

Yes, this is one disaster that I, along with my neighbours, will never forget.
