(sorry if the speaking in this is slightly scattered/confusing. i wrote this at 3am O.o)

i went to a school with a uniform for most of my life and thought i hated it...
but when i moved to a public school and noticed how people of diferent clicks dressed differently
and i was offered to go to hollister last year for a new wardrobe (because somhow we had money for once)
and i declined it just because i do not like the attitudes of people who wear name brand cloths around my town
so even without uniforms i usually wear a plain tee/sweatshirt and jeans to school to express that i will be your friend no matter what click you are from
and people tend not to notice others with cheaper/different clothing

so i am avidly FOR strict dresscode (cackeys and collared white/blue shirt) or uniforms

they take out discrimination and people shouldnt need materialistic things such as cloths to express themselves and only need their own personality and friendlyness to express themselves

then you find out who people really are

that is more of a dress code than uniform
and if that is a dress code people would be breaking it all over the place
it looks "cool" and all
but that also displays the steryotypical teenager that some (myself) try and avoid

even though some may like this dresscode many more would disslike it

I totally agree with you on this. It's not fair on those people who probably cannot afford expensive clothing. If everyone is in uniform then equality is expressed throughout and no one cares who is who. School is more important than who you hang out with and what you look like.

school uniforms give kids an appearance of order and control. Also saves them on having to decide what to wear every day. The only down side is the parents need to spend more money buying the uniforms...

Wrong again cookie.
It takes away the individuality and personality through expressed colors and appearence of the students.
Sheesh. I would be all for wearing boxes to school, but uniforms are out. :P
Opposed.. still. XD

So im going to this new school where you must wear a uniform but does anyone get the point of it?

I hate skirts a lot, I've had a lot of bad experiences with mini skirts+ bike, so I asked them if I could wear the guys uniform and they said no. Im planning to write a letter to our principal about this , so like if you have suggestions for me to add, please write below V
