I have alot of problems with patriotism, and with God. Well, more with organised religion than the big man himself (or woman).

And like it or not peeps, this is a philosophical discussion. You cats are engaging in philosophy. It is a misconception to think that philosophy is about getting answers to these questions. No, philosophy is more about figuring out what we don't know. What, through rational though can we prove or prove wrong? We find out that it's far harder to prove what we do no than it is to prove what we don't know.

We'll never get a clear cut answer to this, If we are to remain methodical and open minded.

So anyway, why are we here? We are here to figure that out.

We exist for the universe to make sense of existence. Through us, and only us (as far as we know) the universe is able to look upon itself.

Maybe, anyway.
