I agreed 100%.
I never used to know what the difference between a goth & Emo was, until I realized the big difference, and cutting, true, solves nothing, neither does hiding your face from the world.
They have some similarities.. and large differences. But yes, they should work together.. we should work together.. we really should..

Emo are the chicks, and Goths are the roosters.

Certainly in England there is a major difference between emos and Goths. I've never seen an emo older than 18 here, it's a phase people grow out of often enough. They wear neon colours, they have coloured hair, etc.

Goths are completely different - round here they wear complete black/red/purple, no neon colours at all and often really normal hair, especially for girls. They're also more of a lifestyle than a hobby (and yes, you can consider emo a lifestyle but it's how you are, it's not exactly your life like goths are) and goths also have some darker bits that you under-18's shouldn't be knowing.

Emo- They Wear Black, Die their hair black, wear chains, eyeliner, spike collars & bracelts, draw in black sharpie all over their skin & clothes, wear those black & white high tops with dark skinny jeans, pale skin feature thing & wrist & leg cutting Screamo music, & Scene.

Goths- Loud music, always alone, pale skin, low voices, dull, never does homework, fails to pay attention, chooses to not participate in activities, lacks friends, wears black lipstick, eyeline, black shoes (converse) & baggy black pants with some sort of band portraying shirt.
We don't have to many Goths here, but tons & tons of Emo's.

emos and goths nowadays are just posers usually, i bet about like every 1 in 10 or something emos or gotha you meet are actually emos or goths, its just people trying to look cool nowadays..

Nobody knows what they are talking about anymore.
Most of the Emo's are just Scene.. like Aaron..
& how everyone says that Emo's usually cut wrists, in PA they all cut the back of their legs & the top half of their arms because of fast death from bloody veins on the underside of your wrist.
We have little goths, we really do. Its all Emo Scene's & there are some true Emo's, but its all talk anymore.
