rofl, did you know that 1/10 children in the UK were concieved on an IKEA bed? I don't care where anybody comes from, whether they live with their biological parents, fosters, or came out of a crocodiles mouth and live up an 100ft tree. The past isn't important...there's nothing more annoying than someone going on about a sob story how they were dumped in a dustbin at 3 days old and then were found by some people and now live an amazing life.

The past leads to the future. Everything that people have done before us paves a way for the next generation. Everyone has a unique story. Some of the most amazing people in this world came from a "dustbin". Their stories are worth hearing.

I'm not saying I won't listen to peoples stories, or that people from a poor background are bad and I don't want to listen to them either. I think that the fools that consider their background more important than the present, and use their background to blackmail people into doing things is wrong, that's all. I knew a person who came from an adopted background, who had so many opportunities but spent their time bragging that they were adopted and wouldn't do anything themselves - they'd simply say to their friends "I really can't do that, it brings back too many painful memories" and their friends would scurry off and do it. She works in the supermarket now. Ah, anyway, it's slightly off topic here, back on you go

I myself am against abortion, No matter what the situation is and how bad it is, what you are aborting is a human life so it's technically killing an unborn child, and I don't see anything right in that. If you don't want the baby then have it and give it up for adoption there are many couples out there that want a family but cant have babies, I'm sure they can take them! Just my own opinion, don't abort have commen sence.

I believe that abortion is the killing of a human being anytime after conception. I also believe that mothers should have the choice to abort the fetus in their body if delivering it poses a serious threat to their health, as predicted by a certified physician (Delivery is not normally a serious threat to a mother's health in core nations. Also, in cases where the mother is at high risk of grievous injury if they deliver a child, the child is at just a high, or higher, risk as the mother).
Forcing someone to risk their life and well-being in case they might bear a child is cruel; individuals need to make these decisions, not the government.

exactly... also adding to my point, with the use of IVF and such adoption rates are going down so fast, as people struggling to concieve are improving their chances with new technology. It's rare people want to adopt for obvious reasons now. It's a shame, yes, but in this kind of world now adoption is a last resort... It's also a shame that LGBT adoption isn't fully legal in most western countries yet, but that's a little off topic.

Give the kid a chance to live! God doesn’t want us to kill a helpless little baby! For goodness sakes, give the kid a chance. And if you don’t want to take care of the kid, give them up for adoption. At least its saving a life.Abortion is just the wrong thing to do. Think about another life.

I agree with you to the extent I talked about in the previous post. Think about the mother's life. God doesn't want us to prevent mothers from saving their own lives. If she has the will to sacrifice her life for a child that has a large chance of dying either way, then let her. However, prohibiting surgery that would save the mother's life makes us morally responsible for her death.
