what we need to worry about is the population even though most people wont hear about it because we live in a world where you cant go around telling people they have a limit on the number of kids they can have

anyone heard of the global cooling effect? Well if it wasn't for all the lovely smog we are putting out in our cities, then the earth would be heating up faster than it currently is. I think it is time to smog the planet and cool it down a bit. Granted, we probably won't be able to breath, but at least we won't get cooked!

i believe that global warming is going to cause the earth's temp. to rise and melt the polar caps thus causing a global flood. though the smog is helping keep it cool, the new cars created to stop using petroleum fuels are going to be the cause of this.

....it took me a really long time to read all that caps lock.
Sano, humans don't have very much history. And if ya did any research, you'd know that the earths temperature is constantly changing. The only reason people are so freaked out now is that the majority of humans, including you New Yorkers, live near the seashore. And, haha, are you really all that sweaty at 80 degrees? That's nothin! Oh and yes, population is a larger issue than global warming. If there were less people, there would be less pollution. And what will we do when there are so many people we can't possibly feed them? What will we do when there's no land left to live on? I don't know about you, but I will NOT move to penguin land.

I feel global warming is a serious matter of concern. At least you guys have temperatures less than that of my country.

Nagpur(central India)= 47 celsius

This is the result of global warming, even the temperatures in Indian hill stations have gone high. Believe it or not, global warming has transformed my country into a microwave oven. So much that you can roast mealies in open air (exaggeration) If necessary action is not taken, I believe most of the countries will face the same problem
