First Post of the Day

Hey peeps, regardless of the seemingly happy title, this topic is here to remind you all to do your work early and establish good study skills, or you'll end up like me: posting forum topics at 4 in the morning because you still don't want to start your paper which is due the next day.
"Smart" people like myself coast through school without trying, and as such don't feel the need to study or do work. So we have 10+ years of that behavior ingrained in our brain. Then we hit challenges, whether it be high school or college. We don't perform as well now, and our fellow classmates who have always had to study to do well in school begin outperforming us. Before long, we become the dumb ones or the slackers. And it's a tough habit to break.
I know this was a rambling, hardly coherent topic, but here's the TLDR: Study, even if you don't think you need to, or you'll never study, even when you need to.
