yeah I saw this. The driver was an idiot. Thinking it is cool to go fast and risk the lives of people who place trust in him. Look forward to hearing about him going to jail.

Not always the drivers fault. something else could have happened but yea, if it was the driver then he must have been barmy.

And people call me paranoid for having a fear of trains -hands on hips- I warned you all that trains are no good. Don't even try to tell me otherwise, I have enough proof and evidence and personal experience against it. So ha...And that is horrible...

If you add up every train ride that ever happened, then all the ones that crashed, and did a percentile, you will have a very, very small chance of getting into a train crash.. .-.
Just saying. .-.

Slightly unrelated, but I read somewhere that you're 10,000 times more likely to die in a car than an aeroplane. I believe that trains are also ridiculously safer.

Sometime in Elementary School: riding to school in a mini-van and stopped on the tracks and the crossing arms started to come down Age 12: almost got hit by a train on my bike (long story short I didn't hear or see it coming and there was no warning signals) Age 15: carpooling home from school and the driver stopped on the tracks and the crossing arms started coming down (this happened twice) Age 19: coming home from school and some jerk turned on a red light cutting me off then as the crossing arms up ahead started to go down he slammed on the brakes then decided he was going to just go through causing me to have to slam on the brakes barely stopping at the line, almost ended up going through the crossing arms and onto the tracks... Age 20: coming home from school and having stopped for one train traffic began to move again and right as I get ON the tracks traffic suddenly stops completely and the arms begin to come down again because a train was coming from the opposite direction...
Stupidity or not, pretty sure a one in a million chance doesn't follow someone around their whole life...
