Media and it's lies

Schools: personally if you watch the news, anytime there is a school on it, it involves shootings or some ignorant stuff. The truth is the average American school isn't an inter city gang filled school nor is it something that you watch on MTV such as the O.C.or whatever. everyone doesn't drive brand new cars, most kids when they hit the age to drive, drive used cars with 80+ thousand miles on it, sometimes you will find people who drive those cars that are new and special other times you will find kids who focus their lives on their cars. The 2 high schools i attended were as different as light and dark. North Manchester, IN, USA, small town with a small high school, this school was absolutely a perfect high school in my opinion. The teachers actually taught, they also cared about their students. It was filled with all colors and races, very active Physical education classes which included everything from working out in the weight room, to playing lacrosse or ultimate Frisbee in the fields by the gym. the basic classes (English, math, science, etc.) had teachers who knew what they were teaching, and knew different ways to help if you did not understand the subject. The drop out rate of this school was very very low.
but then i moved back home, to Eastern Kentucky, USA.
The high school i attended was something that not even the media could possibly show to the world only because it would lower the intelligence of the average news watcher significantly.
to be continued.
