He directed the invasion of Lebanon in !982 to set up a pro-irsraeli puppet democracy, pro christian state to kick the PLO and Syria's rightful claim to the territory. It was pointless, since he critized Syria's "imperial goals and actions", when he did the same exact thing Syria did, but the difference was, Israel had no claim over Lebanon. He allowed so many citizens, both Lebonanese and Palestinian to innocently die under his order, and upon being elected in as PM, he tried to cover it up and act like the war never even happened.

He's the man who started advocating for the Israeli Government to begin air strikes/artillery strikes into the Gaza Strip and West Bank, flatten Palestinian cities, kill the remaining survivors and to rebuild the city up once again with a fine label of, "Jews Only". He is responsible for the flattening of so many innocent Palestinian cities because he thinks a small terrorist group defines a whole group of people. He's violated numerous UN Resolutions, and purposely ignored every UN Resolution issued against Israel during his PM term.

In my opinion, he's a racist war monger like Israel's faithful allies of the USA, and his military ignorance is similar to Obama's attempt to invade Syria and letting the EU support the terrorists in Libya to set up a fake democracy, and Bush's invasion in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Ariel Sharon was an intelligent yet atrocious person to say the least.
He knew what to do and when to do it, and were he involved with some more noble cause I'm pretty sure most of the world would really be sad for his death.
Well, you reap what you sow, no?
