Tazed In The Face, Beaten and Killed, by Cops?
Police brutality has gotten incredibly bad and horrible, it's disgusting. This is one of the numerous coverages TYT has done in the past years of police brutality. Why do US police officers feel the need to do stupid shit like this? It pisses me off.

Re: Tazed In The Face, Beaten and Killed, by Cops?
Well, for one, because taking police exams can't stop someone from being an idiot.
Second of all, I really would like to point out that the death row should be brought back for several offenses on most countries.
As you can see, mild police actions at the start of this century allowed criminals to act loose, and now its come to this.
Edit: oh yeah, since this topic is apparently way left winged (much like TYT) let's bring at least one more view into mind.
It is well known that power corrodes people. You don't want police officers that get into the police force to hurt civilians. You want good people to get in there.
But how can a decent person (American in your case) go into such a line of work when a great group of people only focus on the bad things the police do and constantly talk about that creating an idea in everyone's head that cops=assholes?
Of course police brutality is becoming more and more apparent, as most people that go there nowadays are the ones that go there for exactly that reason, to beat other people and have power.
Let's not forget that there were many police officers that would put their lives on the line to protect the law.
And then again there is the phenomenon of blaming the police whatever they may do.
Eg.
When the police stop riots, they are government dogs and lots of other stuff.
When they don't stop riots, they aren't doing their job at protecting people's property.
So yeah, I believe that the police were doing their job quite well, then a certain group of people focused solely on two or three cases out of a 100 making them look bad and pretty much brought this situation upon us. Go blame them, not the mindless not so well educated troubled person that wears the badge.
Oh yeah. Of course this is all my deeply personal view.

According to global standards, TYT is a moderate leaning left, sometimes right in a general sense. They aren't spot on left, nor spot on right. The only reason why they're considered "left" is because they believe in equality and are socially progressive, but when it comes to the economy, they're a mix between both. They believe in welfare and healthcare, but it must be regulated to a point where the state, nor health care companies aren't being abused or munched off of. They believe everyone should pay the same rate of taxes, not rich being more, not middle class being more, nor the poor being more. They don't want the economy being slowly centralized under extreme government control, which people in the far left believe in. They believe in a free market with regulations that only stop corporations from abusing and using the system/people, and disagree with too much regulation.
I can honestly go on, but it'd be a pain. But, TYT isn't far left, they're moderate leaning left, and sometimes right.
And, I've said no where that all cops are assholes, nor have I said every cop is like this. But, when it gets to a point where senior officers have to go to schools (just like mine) to warn us about police brutality far more than drug cartel and gangs, that says something about society.
Yes, the police does a lot of good stuff and I greatly appreciate that, but that gives them no right to beat someone to death for no valid reason.
