Advent and I had a conversation about what region Sri Lanka was in. I said it was part of the sub indian continent region, and Advent said it was in Sri Lanka. After explaining that sri lanka is closer to india than it is than south east asia, he continued to state that Sri Lanka is with south east asia (then he said he didn't say it was in south east asia but that it was in the south east asia group?? what???)

im just gonna post some articles and stuff showing what nations are in South East Asia and what nations are in the Sub Indian Continent, or as some sources call it, South Asia.

but, before we go into nations in each geographical region in Asia, this is currently what the United Nations regards as regions.

blue = north asia
red = south asia
green = west asia
purple = central asia
yellow = east asia
orange = southeast asia

Its funny how you implied Putin can't decide which is which, but you listen to others' opinion about diving a continent that is not even close to them.

Anyways, I just want to make things clear. This is just a little debate, and it not neccessary to rage about it (like what you did in the chat, cant deny it I have witnesses). If that's your opinion about Asia then fine, I wont stop you from believing yourself. But don't preach on me. You=american, me=asian. You have your opinion and I have mine. I speak traditionally which was taught in classes here in Asia. You speak geographically which is taught by your american professors. I just wanted to clear this out.
