Winton Churchill would have to be it. Held his nerve when Britland was faced with one of its most challenging times.

yo he got so much done like hot damn, we need another LBJ. The only thing that i disagree with him on was continuing the Vietnam War, but his economic and social accomplishments is just amazing. He's like Bernie Sanders, but not as radical.
He meant to take us out of the Vietnam War, but at that point it was too late. He was stuck in a hole dug by JFK and Eisenhower, sadly.
