Sandra Bland Found Dead In Police Custody, Claimed Suicide

okay so for all u amerikaans you probably heard about a civil rights activist in Texas died. Really tragic bc Sandra Bland was an amazing woman and the things she say were great.

So anyways, apparently she got stopped by the police for a road violation. The policeman asked to step out and Bland refused. The police officer ended up taking her out and began arresting her and Bland asked 14 times why she was being arrested. The officer refused to tell her. This is a direct violation of protocol and a violation on citizens rights. When arresting a citizen, a police officer must read them their miranda rights and state what they are being arrested for.

while 3 days in custody, Sandra Bland was found dead by suicide. Officials claimed it was from hanging herself, but logic doesn't add up.

in short, police are claiming sandra took the trash bag out and tied it to the patrition on her shower, and then used it to hang herself.

but wait

trash bags aren't allowed in jail cells for numerous reasons. free items are considered lethal and life threatening for inmates bc of many reasons (anything can be made into a weapon) in fact, all prisons follow a code that everything must be bolted down into the floor. If a bed was lose, it could easily be picked up to attack an incoming guard or another inmate. so why is there a trash bag??

another thing. the partition that Bland allegedly hung herself from is shorter than she is. Sandra Bland is 6ft tall, but the partition is only 5 ft tall, making it physically impossibly for her to have hung herself. Ontop of that, there are no bruises or wounds on her neck that indicate that Bland hung herself. No lacerations, no nothing

Back to the trash bag. initial reports state that the bag used to hung herself was a big black bag. Why, in the original photo posted above, did they replace the bag? Aren't they suppose to keep the scene secure? Shouldn't they have confiscated all evidence?? including the trash can itself??? Yet they replace it?

it's rumored that Bland kept telling the guards and the police officer who arrested her that she knew her rights and wanted to go to court. So a woman, who's an avid civil rights activist, a woman who threatened a court case, commits suicide??? why????

they killed her because of the things she said. There is racism in this country. If this isn't an eye opener then i don't know what is. she was assassinated by the US government.

this makes me sick to my stomach. i had to wait a day before i could start writing this. this is just so messed up.

Sandra Bland was not alive in her mugshot. When you are arrested, you are pictured in the clothes you are arrested in, not in prison clothes. When they take your picture, you are told not to tilt your head or lean against the wall. There is a clear shadow where her head touches the background, most likely the floor. Her cell had tan walls and gray floors. Her head is on a gray background. You can clearly see the gray floor in the first photo and in the right corner in the second photo. Her hair is falling towards the background. Gravity is pulling her hair down because she is on the floor. It is impossible to keep your shoulder straight like her right shoulder is while standing. It is likely that she was on the ground with her right arm outstretched when this picture was taken. When they take your picture, you are told to look directly at the camera. Her eyes are lifeless and unfocused. The police department claims she hung herself from a 5-foot platform when Sandra was around 6 feet tall. The photo of her cell has a trash can in it. Trashcans are not allowed in jail cells because they can not be bolted to the floor. Police claim the scene was not tampered with before the photo, but the trash bag they claim she hung herself with has been replaced with a new one. Sandra told her sister on the phone that she thought her shoulder was broken. Someone with a broken shoulder can not lift their arm high enough to hang themself. The dashcam footage from her arrest is clearly edited, as cars appear and disappear in the middle of the road. The officers knew they were wrong in arresting her. They knew she was going to take them to court. She was a strong-spirited activist. She did not go from being a fighter to being suicidal in a matter of days. While having some truth to it (regarding mugshots), it quickly devolves into conspiracy theorist-level rambling and is quite obviously extremely opinionated. And in the end, yes, the quotes of a user from a blog site (blog usually means opinion) are worth less than those from more credible sites like news outlets and stuff. Sorry.
