Terrorism #2

Postby Shadow00 » 16 Nov 2015, 12:18

French planes dropped bomb into eastern syria yesterday, there were at east dozens of innocent dead people.
Id like to ask you guys why you think theres no uproar over this act of terrorism.

Do you think it is just?
Maybe you dont care because it isnt happening cose by?
Maybe you dont care cause its just Muslims being killed?
Maybe the media that brainwashed you into thinking the French attack was bad enough to bomb a mostly innocent country for days (because im certain this will drag on) and got everyone all weepy and touchy for paris, dont want to give this as much publicity?

Since you all just remembered terrorism is a thing, id like you to talk about how you feel about it when your country/ally country is the one causing it.
Discuss.

agreed... there should be sadness on our part for the innocent lives that die during bombing raids. However, the western objective is not to kill the innocents, but to kill IS. On the other hand IS ONLY wants to kill the innocents and does its best to ONLY target them. I'm not justifying the innocent deaths, but at least the western countries do what they can to avoid killing non IS civilians. In a war zone, there will always be innocent casualties - esp when terrorists like keeping civilians nearby just to get them killed if a bomb explodes.

But the western countries funded the IS to begin with, thus starting all this mess.
I honestly believe I have defended the "in a war zone innocent people WILL die" argument more than anyone else here, but this doesn't change the fact that I consider EU and USA as much a problem to public safety, as I do the IS.

Now if you do believe the IS got all the guns on its own and actual funds to travel to EU, pretty much start a war economy, plan terrorist attacks all over the place as well as take over like 50% of Syria, with no help, then idk man

I'll be the first to say that ALL this mess is related to the west being involved in the middle east - going back to the creation of israel and well before that. But what is done is done... and now we have to deal with the mess. To not deal with it will result in the extermination of any muslim who does not adhere to the IS philosophy, the enslavement of countless people, and the displacement of millions more. Regardless of what led to the current disaster (and I place the blame soundly in the bloodied hands of George Bush and the iraq war), we now cannot sit back and use nice words to fix it.

Now that, I can absolutely agree with.
So, its full out war against IS? Because that will cause some serious bombings in the EU

I'm surprised that there is such a big deal in America over a measely twenty French bombs in one day when Russia organised more than 200 combat sorties over Wednesday and Thursday. The case and point being, that yanks are bashing on a country that's had a shockwave of terror attacks and martial law installed over their mortal enemy who has seen eye to eye with Obama so suddenly it's all buddy buddy? No topics on Russia or mention of the, have been made in relation to the bombing as of this post besides perhaps a mention on the topic of the Russian flight.

And on my opinion, I think there are many drastic solutions that may be taken, and bombing is the least of them, just that those citizens should thank their lucky stars the Geneva convention exists, otherwise all the governments, Greek, American, Russian and EU and Britain would leave Syria as a waste
