I know it's a large gamble, but I think we should have a topic on it anyway.
First of all a couple of guidelines:

I'll be asking several questions/statements, but only on one topic at a time.

Do the current mods do a good job or not?

Why do so many want to become moderator? What is so special about being a moderator?

If you could add any rule to the current chat rules what would it be?

the exclusivity of it, they think we get more rights than the registered chatters, and the fact they think we can just ban whoever we like whenever if they annoy us, and more relaxed rules....well thats what i have gotten from peope when i asked them on chat.

basically people i know everyone like oh being a mod is the most amazing postion to be on a chat trust me and everyone else who is or has been a mod it not because you have to look after the chat oin your own time when you don't really wanna be and you have to argue and fight with people who just ingore you and all that and the mods have to stick to the rules even if they don't want to unlike you just blue chatterz you don't and basically mods just get sick and tried of the same bunch of people misbehaving and half the time mods can't even handle it them self so just stay blue for the best but plz don't pee off the mods because they have enough on thier plate to deal with.

i was a mod like not that long ago and i thought it was an amazing job cuz i knew like everyone on the chat and me and mod and chatters have laughs and all but has time went on it became harder because new people came on and started to misbehave and told them what to do and all that and half the time i would just snap and go mental in the chat which was not good but it was a real struggle even though frank thought i would be able to do that job .

so if anyone wanted to be a mod who likes snaps easy or can't handle the stress and all plz don't become a mod because ur make it hard and diffcult on yourself and for everyone on chat as well.

well for me it's just the authority and knowing that so few people get the honor of actually being a mod makes me wanna be one even more and i think that probably one of the reason's people do it...alos that you can bann the rule breaking noobs

This is exactly what i was when i was on this for the 1st time.

Most people want to be mods because they think of the privilege of being a regulator and their power to mostly do whatever they want. But i've also heard from some people that they want to be a mod because of the problems in chat a lot. There are a lot of trouble makers and most of the mods arent on when it happens and people want to be mods because of the noobs who always cause trouble like they think that chatting on the internet will protect them. I think that some people like blood knight have understood the power and responsibilty of being a mod and i think they should be mods

People want to be a moderator,
Because they know they will be in power,
They will have green names and the power of the bann button!
It too bugs me when a person sees someone with a green name and hear about what they can do, then from that point its constant asking!
They dont realize that they wont get it for asking so many times,
They just know they are one in how ever many people that come here that want it,
Half of them dont even know what a mods job is, they just know they are green and can ban!

it is kinda annoying when they do that but the main thing i kinda hate is the people that just want the bann button and the green name some people on here actually wanna help make this sita and chat be a better place for the people.

If you gave some random kid the power to be a mod, and they didnt know what the heck they were doing,
they would just bann the people they hated,
whether they did anything or not!
They just know once they are a mod and a person comes along that they hate, well, then they are banned.

1. They can destroy enemies
2. to brag to they're allies
