computers,a helpful one or our destroyers?

ok so i've heard that one day computers will be so smart that they can learn what a person can learn in 10 years in a matter of seconds.This my be a good thing but what will happen when they become like a human but even smarter like gods,they will know everything.Now we are the domainent species of Earth but if computers become smarter than us wont we be considerd second to computers.Now how do we treat animals,we eat them right and use them to our advantage without thinking about them,we might become slaves to the artificial intellegance.the only advantage we have is reproduction,but i dont know how that helps.
now what do you think and how we may stop this deadly machine.

Lamb, it's inevitable. Not to say we all will be ruled by computers (would never happen) but definately that they would get intellectual enough to help us with every day matters.

ok now see if that ever did happen wouldnt all we have to do is u unplug/ pull out their batteries? i mean really come on unless they learn how to like friggin run on air or something i think we're good?

The human brain is superior to any computer. The worst case scenario would be where an extremely advanced AI becomes self-aware, and somehow comes to the decision to ELIMIATE all the humans. Besides it being unlikely, it would be like fighting against really stupid people. We'd also have to give all the manufacturing control to the computer (so he [self-aware computer] could manufacture minions in factories; but first he'd have to retrofit them all to minion-making) and have a nice stash of computer-friendly weapons nearby (like within reach of their power cords).

the end is coming. It's not going to be long before computers will become super intelligent, use the internet like a neural network and turn all the computers of the world into one big super brain. When that happens, they will see that humans are a plague on this world and destroy us. Unlike the terminator movies, we will not survive, they will have no use for us as a slave race, and we will be exterminated. The earth will recover from years of human harm, and life will once again flourish on the now human-less Earth.

we wont be able because they will be able to upgrade and adjust to stimuli so if you try a self destruct it will destroy it in case without a person being aware.
