The Role of Government

Postby mmm » 20 Sep 2011, 00:11

What role should the government play in a citizen's life? This issue is at the core of many a disputed topic, and I'm struggling to answer it myself. What do you think?

to look after the people paying taxes to it. This should include: health, education, and protection - in that order.

The homeless don't pay taxes here, Shadow.
Should the government provide jobs? Are should jobs be allowed to naturally ebb and flow?
What should the government's limit of power be to maintain those three rights FWG stated: health, education, and protection? Should the government be allowed to force people to get vaccines, for example?
