Re: #Occupy Everywhere
It started out as people just saying "Screw it, I'm letting out ALL of my rage."
Then people on the internet and such were like "Lol thatlooks fun let's join."
Enter Memebase "LOLZ OVERUSED MEME FFROAGHK GIBBERISH"
Now, I'd say, it's just a huge crowd of people going 'DGHERWJGKAWBHGHAJ" While everybody else is all like :l Wut.)

Re: #Occupy Everywhere
when i think of the movement, first thing that comes to my mind, illogical reasoning:if you want job GO GET ONE, PUT IN EFFORT, APPLY OUTSIDE YOUR CAREER FIELD (i.e. fastfood, janitorial work, hard labor, etc).
second thing: cops are tired of getting treated like crap, and also detectives and mayors are getting tired of increased crime rate (including rape, assault, drug abuse) so they do what they are trained to, riot starts, riot mode engaged. media calls it police brutality and youg minds are dumb enough to believe it.
third thing: FREAKING AMERICAN SOCIALIST PARTY ndorsed th movement as well as Labor Unions across america. i do not like either one of those groups
Fourth thing: media compares this to the tea party. THE TEA PAARTY NEVER HAD A RIOT, NEVER HAD POLICE TELL THEM TO LEAVE, AND NEVER MADE A HUGE MESS THAT COST UPWARDS OF $1 MILLION TO ANY BUSINESS/CORPORATION.
also the tea party never cause mor ewomen to be raped. just throwing that out there.

Re: #Occupy Everywhere
dont see the point. Doubt it will achieve anything at all, except cause chaos.
Re: #Occupy Everywhere
It's just stupid >_> I agree with danny totally. The media already have enough control on people... But nobody's ever started a riot against the media, have they?
Re: #Occupy Everywhere
uh dont these people have i dont know JOBS
ARE THEY GETTING PAID FOR THIS OR WHAT
ARE THEY GETTING PAID FOR THIS OR WHAT
Re: #Occupy Everywhere
The Occupy movement began out of frustration over the continued poor economy, and the banks were the most visible targets. I'm beginning to sympathize with the movement now, as various banks are daring to introduce ridiculous fees in order to maintain their previous (exorbitant) income, when so recently we bailed them out. However, they've got many vague, varied demands that cannot all be met. I agree that with all the money raised and effort used on protesting general unfairness, they could have found themselves some jobs.
Re: #Occupy Everywhere
I'm not american, so excuse me for no advanced knowledge on your situation, however:
They're creating the chaos, but not the right type. the only way to make the banks give more acceptable fees, etc is by taking away what they want. Your money.
If every single one of the people in occupy could withdraw all their money, cancel every account, then the banks would start to do something.
I know it's impossible - debts, mortgages etc, but that is essentially the only way to get something moving. Protesting around might be causing chaos, but what is it actually doing to the banks?
