Solar roadway technology was invented by an engineering couple, Julie and Scott in 2006. The video shows a short explanation from the two.

This would lower the cost of energy (clean energy). There would be no pollution.

There would be no ice or snow on roads or anything which avoids problems. Instead it would only stay on grass or trees.

There are even LED lights installed!

but what about that

when it becomes bigger, the corporations that run the governments, especially the US, will just attack the group and confiscate the research and attempt to suppress and cover it up. That is what history has taught us.
When corporates are kicked out of the government, thats when ideas and innovations like this will become a big thing.

Its not that I don't agree its that my opinions are 99.9% of the time the exact opposite of his.

Honestly I just watched the whole video because it kept me entertained and laughing *shrug*
But seriously... Having streets that look like Tron? That would be so irritating when trying to sleep at night, and would cause a lot more accidents with drunks because they focus on light AND dogs and cats would be obsessed with playing in the roads and kids too because they light up... So as perfect as this whole thing sounds and as awesome as it is *shrug*
