to clarify, i meant that im sick of the all the christians who ACTUALLY DO THAT and if you are not one of them then you are okay. i did not mean all as in EVERY CHRISTIAN DOES THIS but instead as BOY OH BOY A WHOLE LOT OF THEM SURE DO.

to clarify, i meant that im sick of the all the christians who ACTUALLY DO THAT and if you are not one of them then you are okay. i did not mean all as in EVERY CHRISTIAN DOES THIS but instead as BOY OH BOY A WHOLE LOT OF THEM SURE DO.

But not a whole lot of them do. That's a stereotype of the Christian religion represented in a loud minority.

And so we refer back to the age old mantra 'don't generalise'. You're basically saying 'sorry not sorry' and it's pretty insulting. You've obviously made people feel bad and your apology hasn't worked, if it can even be called an apology. I'd understand you voicing your opinion based on your experience but voicing it in the accusing way you have is just insulting.

the only reason im voicing it like that because i've had to put up with so many hateful comments about gays from people i go to church with while hiding who i am. even from my own goddamn mother. im sorry that what i said was insulting. i really didn't mean for it to be.

I suppose the reason why there hasn't been wars waged about Satanism would be that it's a taboo in society. Not many people want to be associated with a figure who would be evil.


Now, the reason why wars were waged about Christianity and Islam? Mainly, it is because humans do not like having their beliefs challenged. When such an event happens, they forget all about the true rules of their religion. It is never the religion's fault; it is often times the people who follow it. That being said, however, not every follower will do that...some people have more patience than others.

Because people like to ignore the good parts of a group when trying to paint it in a negative light. Huge Christian family here--Never met a single true Christian who had anything against homosexuality. One of my cousins, in fact, is a lesbian, and she's become a minister. So, the opposite of what you're saying.
