this is all a bit scary - my mum recently had an bacterial infection that was not responding to any anti-biotic treatments. In the end they had to hit her with the strongest and newest treatments available and that thankfully fixed things. I don't think we can keep up with bacterial evolution and one day we'll all be screwed if we don't have an alternative to antibiotics.

What I'm saying is that a heathy life is no alternative to antibiotics, in any way - it simply reduces the severity of said illnesses.

You'll always have a problem with bacteria in this current age, whether you're a health fantatic or a lazy git.
