electric guitars and equipment

anyone knowledge about that?

bought myslef a yamaha EG 112 + GA15 practice amp for home practice
anyone got some tips of what i could buy when i need better equipment later on?

+ whats a good book to learn how to play electric guitar? i will take lessons next year but i want to start learning now :)
