“Brakenstar, you may speak first,” Rockstar said, and backed off, to sit near Dawnstar. The clan leaders were standing on the Rockpile, where RockClan's leader would make announcements. Each leader stood tall and proud next to each other. The deputies were at the very bottom of the Rockpile. Other clans had a spot, where their leader would make announcements, and called it a different thing. “Thank you Rockstar. As all of you know, Treestar died, and I became leader. My deputy is Wildfire. When Treestar was alive, there was an agreement that was with TreeClan and RockClan, that was to stay in peace with each other, and one would help the other when it's needed. That agreement is still kept. All is good in TreeClan. Bumblepaw, Robinpaw, and Whitepaw, are our new warriors, as Bumblestripe, Robinheart, and Whitefrost. May StarClan light their path,” Brackenstar said. He backed away, and Ripplestar walked forward. “All is well in WaterClan,” the leader said, and walked back. Rockstar walked up. “All is also well in RockClan. We have two new apprentices, Oakpaw and Snakepaw. May StarClan light their path, for they will have a happy life ahead of them,” Rockstar said. The old brown cat stepped back. Dawnstar, was last.
“MoonClan is doing fine. I have a request that involves RockClan, and WaterClan. The moorland that is in MoonClan, WaterClan and RockClan, I want you to give the territory you have of moorland, to MoonClan. We need the territory. Our clan hasn't recovered since the battle with WaterClan,” Dawnstar said, with a glare to Ripplestar. MoonClan and WaterClan have been fighting for a while, but the fighting has stopped. MoonClan mostly lost, and didn't have much warriors. MoonClan has been trying to recover, since the last battle, three moons ago, but is having a hard time. TreeClan has been offering food, but now with the new leader, Brackenstar has refused to give their prey to MoonClan. Before Ripplestar could answer, Rockstar started talking. “Dawnstar, I will give my moorland, but, only for four moons. If you continue to set the new boundary after the four moons, You will also deal with RockClan,”Rockstar meowed. Then Ripplestar glared at Rockstar. “You're siding with MoonClan?!?” Ripplestar growled. “No, not completely. If I was, then I would be giving my moorland forever, to MoonClan. RockClan is neutral, and will always be. Remember, if MoonClan or WaterClan attack either RockClan or TreeClan, you will be dealing with the other. Both of us wish to be neutral. Right Brackenstar? You haven't said a word in this conversation. It does seem that you want no part of this. Correct?” Rockstar meowed. Brackenstar nodded. “There, it is settled. Anything to say? Ripplestar? Dawnstar?” Rockstar decided.
“Yes. I do. WaterClan is not giving their moorland to MoonClan,” Ripplestar said. Then Brackenstar jumped into the conversation. “Why??? What, you don't want to help your enemy, and probably make peace? What is wrong with you?” Brackenstar hissed. “Brackenstar, what WaterClan does, doesn't concern TreeClan. You shouldn't meddle in others affairs. Besides. You stopped helping MoonClan, so you can't judge me!” Ripplestar growled. “Apparently, this so called, affair, does involve TreeClan, so shut your mouth, furball! Me, not helping MoonClan, will not bring peace! It will strength MoonClan, then they'll go fighting you! I want this war to stop, and I think some of your warriors think that way. I know RockClan and TreeClan cats feel the same way about this war!” RockClan and TreeClan cats yowled in agreement. Brackenstar waited still the cats settled down. Then the young leader continued. “It takes to many lives! You kill the others warriors, and the warrior code says, that there is no killing in battle. A warrior doesn't gain honor by killing other cats! We only fight, to show dominance, not by killing cats who want to keep their home! All WaterClan wants to do, is gain and gain, more territory!” Brackenstar growled. All the cats, expect WaterClan cats, yowled in agreement.
Then, the light of the moon suddenly disappeared. Dark clouds covered the sky. Some cats gasped in horror, knowing that StarClan didn't like the clan leaders. “It's a sign from StarClan. They want us to stop arguing! We mustn't fight at a time of peace,” Creekwing yowled. “Agreed.” said Thronwhisker, the medicine cat of TreeClan. Rockstar flicked his tail to order silence. Since Rockstar was the oldest, he was more experienced, and had the right to make choices what to do, during gatherings, when StarClan became angry. “I think that we should end this meeting. The other clans can stay and chat, but don't stay awhile. I'd like my warriors to be wide awake when they set the new border,” RockClan ordered. “I'll stay with you, if you want,” Applepaw said. Oakpaw nodded to her. I want to move so bad! The stupid cuts! “Oakpaw, you all right?” a voice said. That sounds like Skysong! Oakpaw turned, and saw the gray tom next to him. “I came to let you know, that you can move now. But, don't run. I can see that the poison is still there, but, it won't travel if you walk. Now go. Remember, don't run!” Skysong meowed. “Thanks,” Oakpaw said, and got up. He stretched his legs, and walked over to some cats. Applepaw was following. “Yeah, Flamepaw, you should climb a tree! I have, and it's fun!” a blue she-cat meowed. “No way, Riverpaw! Last time I did that, I almost broke my paw! Cloudheart yelled at me for doing it! I don't want to get in trouble, again!” Flamepaw hissed. “Well, if you do it right, then you won't fall!” hissed a patched fur tom. “No! Won't do it Grasspaw! You can't change my mind!” Flamepaw meowed. Then, Riverpaw looked at Oakpaw and Applepaw. “Hey, what clans do you guys come from?” she asked. “We both come from RockClan,” Applepaw said. “WaterClan,” Riverpaw replied. “I live in TreeClan, and I think Flamepaw lives in MoonClan,” Grasspaw said. Flamepaw nodded,”I do, and I'm not climbing that tree!” Flamepaw said to Riverpaw. Riverpaw shrugged. “Fine, it won't harm me!” she said. “Flamepaw! We're leaving! Dawnstar doesn't want to stay here,” a big white tom said.
He was big, and had broad shoulders. “Okay Cloudheart. Bye guys, see you later. Got to go!” Flamepaw said, and walked away with Cloudheart. “Bye, Flamepaw,” everyone said.”Wow, that was weird. We said it at the same time. How did we do that?” Riverpaw asked. “Well, we're apprentices. We do many things that are the same as the other. We train, catch food, say stuff at the same time,” Oakpaw said, with a smile on his face. “That doesn't make sense,” Grasspaw meowed. “I guess a lot of things don't make sense,” Applepaw said, and licked her paw, and straighten her whiskers Grasspaw just nodded. “Grasspaw! We're leaving. Say good-bye to your friends, and go!” a voice said. Oakpaw peered a head, and saw a light red she-cat. “I'm coming, Embersong!” Grasspaw yelled back to his mentor. Then he turned back to Oakpaw, Applepaw, and Riverpaw. “Bye guys,” he said, and ran to Embersong. “Bye,” Oakpaw said. “See you later,” Riverpaw yelled. Applepaw flinched at Riverpaw's yell. “Wow, Riverpaw! I think he heard you all right!” Applepaw hissed. “Oh, sorry. My bad,” Riverpaw said. She looked down at her paws. Oakpaw thought she was sad because Applepaw yelled at her, but, now, it looked more like she was thinking. Then Riverpaw looked up. “Um, I'm going to find Graypelt, and see if we're going soon. She'll know,” Riverpaw said. “Wait, who's Graypelt?” Oakpaw asked. “Oh, she's my mentor. Bye guys,” Riverpaw answered, ans walked away. “Bye,” Oakpaw said. “See you at the next gathering!” Applepaw meowed. Oakpaw looked around the camp. He saw Tawnycloud and Nightwatcher chatting with some other cats. Spiderpaw, Tigerpaw, and Snakepaw were talking to some elders. It looked the elders were telling them about some stories of the past. Then, out of the corner of his eye, he saw Leafpaw sneaking up behind Applepaw. “Um, Applepaw?” Oakpaw said. He was ready to warn Applepaw about Leafpaw.
Then Leafpaw was frowning at him. She had her tail covering her mouth, signaling him not to tell her, or, to just shut up. “Yes, Oakpaw. What do want to tell me?” Applepaw asked. Oakpw shot a glare at Leafpaw. “Oh, it's nothing,” Oakpaw answered her. “Come on, tell me!” Applepaw insisted. “No, it's nothing,” Oakpaw replied. “Please! Tell me!” Applepaw said. She began jumping up in down. Oakpaw saw that Leafpaw was almost close enough to pounce Applepaw. Got to stall time! This will be so funny! “It's just that, um, you have a bug on your head. Wait, hold still. I'll get it,” Oakpaw said. Applepaw bent down, and Oakpaw stood on his back to legs a little. “Stop moving! Let me get the 'bug', of her head!” Oakpaw whispered silently to Leafpaw. Leafpaw wasn't good at hearing whispered, but could read lips perfectly. She was, like a spy for RockClan. And, for herself. She nodded. “Oakpaw!?! Can you find it? Is it small? I bet it is!” Applepaw said. “Um, sure, yeah. It's small. Just can't find it,” Oakpaw replied. Then, he patted his paw a little hard on her head, To make it feel he was actually squashing a bug. Then, Oakpaw backed away, and got back on all fours. He flicked his ears a little. “There, I got it,” Oakpaw said, and started licked his paw. Then, her whipped his paw on his whiskers to flatten them.
“Hi Applepaw!!!” Leafpaw yelled as she jumped on Applepaw . Leafpaw's paws were around her neck, which pulled Applepaw back. Applepaw started choking.

the rest of it! i can't fit it in.
“Your choking, me!” Applepaw said with a voice ebbing away. Leafpaw quickly let go. “Oh My gosh! I'm so sorry!” Leafpaw said. “Are you okay?” Leafpaw bended down to look at Applepaw. “Fooled you!” Applepaw growled. The red she-cat punched Leafpaw in the face. Leafpaw staggered back. Applepaw then quickly got up, and pounced on her. They tussled till both of them layed near the entrance of the medicine cat's den, panting. As Oakpaw was about to go over there, but didn't. A loud scream came from over there. “Oh, I'm so sorry! I didn't see you there! You know, you shouldn't be sleeping near the medicine cat's den, Applepaw!” That was Nighttail. Oakpaw peered a head, and saw the black tom standing over Applepaw, who was holding her tail. “So! You shouldn’t have stepped on it! It's a bright red tail, on grass! That's green!” Applepaw hissed. “Calm down, Applepaw. It's just a tail. The pain will go away,” Thorntail's high voice talked. “Now go to sleep. You're on the dawn patrol to set the new boundary. You'll need sleep. Go,” Applepaw sunk her head, and walked slowly with Leafpaw following. Wow. Oakpaw followed them in the apprentices den. Going to bed, eh?” I know that voice! Oakpaw quickly turned around, and saw Deadfire. The black tom was staring straight at him. Oakpaw just nodded. “Well, good. You're going on your tenth patrol. On the border with TreeClan,” Deadfire said. “Who else is going? And Why are you counting?” Oakpaw asked. “Bounceleg and Tawnycloud. Oh, and I'm only counting because I don't have anything good to do.” Deadfire joked Oakpaw nodded, and curled up in his nest, and closed his eyes. “Sure you do,” Oakpaw murmured. He knew when Deadfire left, because the moonlight flashed in the den. Oakpaw flicked his tail over is eyes, and dug his face in his paws, and fell asleep.
CHAPTER 5
Oakpaw fell deeply in sleep. “Oakpaw, welcome to StrarClan.” Oakpaw opened his eyes and jumped up in alarm. He saw a big gray she-cat, and small blue tom. The two cats were sitting next to him. The place was a Forest, but in light shades. They must me Moonstar and Waterstar. “Where am I?” Oakpaw asked. “Where do you think? We told you, 'welcome to StarClan.' Does that mean anything to you? Uh, they said 'welcome to StarClan, so I must be in a foxes nest! What goes through your mind, little one? Thunderfang, can we really trust this one? I know he's my great -grandson, but, I wonder what that Squirrelfur did to him as a kit! I knew Stoneclaw should have picked Mousetail!” Oakpaw saw a pitch black tom laying on a rock, next to a brightly orange she-cat, who was, Thunderfang. The tom was staring straight at him. “What's that suppose to mean?” Oakpaw growled. “Don't worry, Oakpaw. Shadowpool is cranky, like always. He doesn't mean what he says,” Thunderfang said, and jumped down from the rock.
“ Shadowpool, I know Thunderfang picked the right one! RockClan cats are trustworthy, and loyal. They stay to their word, even when it has consequences. I'm surprised that you doubt your own mate's division.” Out came a dark brown tom from the lightness of the back-round. Shadowpool jumped down from the rock. “So, Ravenheart's here. The first deputy of RockClan! Why are you here? Why not invite all of StarClan? Moonstar! Want to get Maplestone and Windflight? I thought I saw them by the lake. Even though this meeting has nothing to do with them, let's just get them, invite them here! Oh, and I did see Fernshadow by the stream. Let's get her too!”Shadowpool growled. “All of you be quiet! You sound like foxes fighting over a rabbit! Let Thunderfang tell Oakpaw the message! We agreed on it, so that's final!” Waterstar growled to the cats. “I know TreeClan ancestors were suppose to stay out of this, but, I must come. This, might affect TreeClan, you know, sweeties. So I have come.” A black she-cat came out of the lightness. “Treestar!” Oakpaw yelled, and ran to the old TreeClan leader. When Oakpaw was a little kit, Treestar saved him when he wanted to jumped off the top of the nursery. After that, they had been friends.
“Hello Sweety. Nice to see you,” Treestar purred. “Now listen to Thunderfang. She has to tell you something,” Treestar said. “Why are you hear?” Shadowpool growled. “Deary, does that really matter? We are all in one clan now, so, be quiet!” Treestar hissed. “Okay, are you done, Shadowpool?” Thunderfang hissed. Shadowpool flinched at his mates harshness, and sat down quietly. “Oakpaw, there is something coming. Something bad. We've seen an omen, a dark one. The Shadows of the Bright Moon shall haunt the Clans, and will bring the Darkness that draws the Clans to war. Stop the haunting Shadows, and defeat the evil Darkness .” Thunderfang said. “Good luck honey. I will visit your dreams, always,” Treestar said. “Good-bye my great-grandson,” Shadowpool meowed. The cats disappeared, one by one, with Shadowpool and Thunderfang going last.
“Oakpaw! Oakpaw! Wake up! You kicked me in the face, cause of your stupid nightmares! Wake up!!!” Snakepaw's fierce voice had rang in Oakpaw's ears. Oakpaw opened his eyes to see is brother in his face. “Get out of my face!” Oakpaw hissed. He pawed his brother a few times in the face. Snakepaw backed up, and walked out of the den. “Wow, I was kicked in the face by my own brother, and now he punches me in the face! He must really nice!” Snakepaw joked. Oakpaw just grunted. He slowly got up, and rubbed the sleepiness from his eyes. Licked his paw, and smoothed out the fur that was puffed out. He stepped out of his den, smelling the fresh air. Their was a hint of coldness in the air. Leaf-fall is coming soon.
Oakpaw looked around. He saw Honeyfur walking to the fresh-kill pile. Her kit, was Redkit, and big red she-cat. She was only a moon away from being an apprentice. Over by the tree stump near the elder's den, was Tallfur and Toadfur, sharing a rabbit. Over by the leader's den, was Rockstar and Stoneclaw, with Minttail, Goldenfur, and Cloudfang, talking. Squirrelfur was wrestling with Dawnflower, practicing their moves. At the edge of medicine cat's den, was Creekwing and Nighttail checking Ashspots' fur. When he was a kit, the Great Drought took place. It started a fire, that scorched Ashspots on his fur. It was stained with ash on his gray fur, which looks like spots. That's how he got his name. Creekwing likes to check on it, just to make sure that it's not irritating the skin. The whole camp was alive, with movement everywhere. At the camp entrance, was Deadfire, Tawnycloud, and Bounceleg were talking. Oakpaw could hear them.
“Deafire, were is your apprentice? What's his name, Oakpaw?” Bounceleg asked. “He's coming, Bounceleg! Calm down,” Deadfire replied. “Well, if he's coming, then he better come soon! I want to be back at camp as fast as I can! Got something to do,” Tawnycloud meowed. She licked her paw, and rubbed it on her face. As Oakpaw started to run, Toadfur shouted for him, “ Oakpaw! Come over here!” Oakpaw turned, and saw his grandfather staring at him. He shrugged, and walked over to him. “Do you want me to leave? Something private,” Tallfur asked. “Yup! Sure is! Now go. Don't you have to yell at some apprentices?” Toadfur joked. “You know what! I think I'm suppose to yell at Tigerpaw! Now where is he?” Tallfur joked back. The skinny black she-cat slowly go up, and walked away. “What is it?” Oakpaw asked him when Tallfur was far away. He sat down where Tallfur used to sit.
“Tell me, what were you dreaming of? I heard you yell, 'Shadowpool', and, 'Thunderfang', in your sleep. Tell me, and tell me the truth. They're my parents, and I want to know why you had a dream about them,” Toadfur asked. Oakpaw sighed. “You wouldn't believe me, and if I tell you, it will sound crazy,” Oakpaw said. Toadfur just glared at him. “Try me,” Toadfur replied. The old tom's eyes flashed in eagerness. “Okay. I was dreaming. A cat said, 'welcome to StarClan'. I thought I died. The cats were Waterstar and Moonstar, then I believed even more that I was dead. Then, when I asked where I was, some black furred tom snapped at me, and said that Stoneclaw should have picked Mousetail, than Squirrelfur, and other stuff that I don't remember,” Oakpaw explained.
“Who said what?!?” Oakpaw heard his mother's voice. He turned around, and saw Squirrelfur, glaring t him. “Shadowpool,” Oakpaw answered, and stared back at Squirrelfur. Then she calmed down. “Shadowpool? But he's dead? How's you talk to him?” Squirrelfur asked. “I'm sorry mom, but I have to go. Deadfire wants me to go on a patrol with Bounceleg and Tawnycloud. I'll tell you later, okay? Toadfur wants to know too, but I heard Tawnycloud complain that I was late,” Oakpaw explained. “Aw, don't listen to Tawnycloud. She's a whiner,” Toadfur said. “Toadfur!” Squirrelfur growled. “What? It's the truth! Yesterday, she was complaining to Throntail that her paw hurt, when she bent her claw a little! I swear, she looked like she was going to burst into tears!” Toadfur meowed.
“I'll just go now, let you two, talk this out,” Oakpaw said, and slipped away from the cats bickering. He ran to the camp entrance, where Deadfire was glaring at him. “Where have you been? We've been waiting for a long time!” Deafire questioned. “Toadfur asked me something, then Squirrelfur jumped in, and then they started bickering, and then I just slipped away,” Oakpaw explained. Bounceleg giggled after Oakpaw had finished. “Hey, what's so funny! I'm not lying!” Oakpaw growled.
.
Re: Chapter 4, and chapter 5
and the rest!
“No, no, it's not that. It's just, I bet-ted with Nightwatcher that Squirrelfur would argue with someone right away in the morning. Now Nightwatcher has to catch me a mouse! It better be a juicy one too!” Bounceleg explained. “You bet with Nightwatcher! Wow, he always right,” Tawnycloud meowed. “Well, not today!” Bounceleg said. “Stop it! You two talk so much, I can't even talk to myself without you two interrupting! Just, shut up!” Deadfire growled. The two she-cats flinched at Deadfire's harsh tone. “Come, we have to go. No time to waste.” Deafire walked out of the camp. Bounceleg and Tawnycloud gave each other looks, and followed. Oakpaw shrugged, and followed the patrol. The ground felt a little cold. Usually it's soft, but, leaf-bare is suppose to come not for a while.
“I know Oakpaw. It looks like leaf-bare's coming early. A long coldness is coming,” Tawnycloud said. Oakpaw looked up at the patched warrior. How's she know what I was thinking? “It's a rare power that some cats have. You must know, that I am blind,” Tawnycloud meowed. “What!?! I didn't know that!” Oakpaw said. He was stunned. That's amazing. “Well, how do you know where you're going?” Oakpaw asked. “I'll explain it to you later. Now, lets do our patrol. Save your questions for now,” Tawnycloud replied. Then, she stopped. Tawnycloud took a deep breath of air. “TreeClan's patrol is already at the border,” she said. “Great,” Deafire sighed. He must hate TreeClan. “Oh, you don't know the half of it,” Tawnycloud whispered. “Tawnycloud! Stop reading my thoughts!” Oakpaw growled. Tawnycloud flinched. She walked faster to meet with Bounceleg.
