Someone had misunderstood what the mayans said and people who didnt have logic(also known as stupid people,or know as none smart people,or "smart" people[like my 7th teacher likes to say]) and everyone spread the rumor and so on and so on until earlier this year the mayans stayed that thats not what they meant.
what they meant was how you count up 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,and so on we just started again on that count and it really is just meaning a new decade, era, or age.

Actually,what DID happen with the mayans is this.
To start with,the "stones" are still accurate,and whatever is written on them is true.
BUT, it wasnt like
"Dec 20/2012: There will be a meteor shower visible from the norrh hemisphere"
"Dec 21/2012: The world will end".
It was more likely like:
"Mayan City Centre"
Leader- guys,we've so far predicted all moves of our planet as well as other phenomena for the next 5.000 years (?). I say we stop there,we aren't going to live until then anyways.

Now don't give me stupid reasons given in the Bible or whatever and then try to connect these with the Mayans,because they did NOT own a bible copy,nor did they even know who Jesus Christ was. I won't take seriously any comment talking about both God (whoever God you believe in) and the end of the world linked.
