(this one happened to me)
ask for change for a 10 dollar bill with equal ammounts of quarters, nickles, dimes, and pennies, say you rlly need that exact change
and you will give them 10 bucks for giving the change (show them the other 10)
then as soon as they have spent a decent ammount of time counting change just pick up your origional money and walk away
