think of the changes that have happened in the last 80 years... what will life be like in another 80 years?
- robots doing all our work?
- super intelligent computers that are fighting for equal rights?
what what?
What will the world be like in 80 years

i'd assume we'd be making tests and preparations for leave Earth. It's likely Earth would be even more polluted.
Or a scientist made this liquid or chemical to reverse pollution somehow.

I don't believe we will resort to flying cars and helping hand robots and waiters ect.
I think we will get into more advanced electronics and larger tv's and better cell phones. larger laptops and computers.
Just the other day I was watching a commercial on tv about a little box type thing that cleans your floors for you and all you have to do is press a button.
America is lazy. Simple as that. We keep getting more resturaunts, and people are dropping out of sports because we have all this great stuff we just wanna sit home and stuff our faces and not do anything.
It's a fat world and a fat economy and lazy lazy lazy!!
That's what will happen. Things will just keep on getting better, and we will continue to get fatter.
I don't really think there is going to be a fantastic future like everyone is planning.

well, cellphones evolved from huge things like this:

to this:

in exactly 25 years.
let's not even talk about 1980's TVs compared to 2010's 3D TVs.
In 80 years from now,we will be leaving (if lucky)

(it's a planet that human beings (and all other sorts of animals etc) can live with no problems, plus it has no pollution (yet). It's just 600 million light years away :/
also,I'm very sure flying cars will be developed (oh yeah, they're already invented
) by then so that everyone could be able to use them.
Robots are already invented,it's widely known anyways, and I'm pretty sure that most people will have one by the late 2050's (if everything goes well and we don't run through any major catastrophe)

I agree with Orby - we'll end up being fat slobs by the end of it....much like in WALL-E ..

you're probably right - we're already much fatter than we were 20 years ago. It's only going to get worse if people don't change the way things are going.

Thank god someone has a brain.
We were discussing this the other day in class. American economies are downhill. Back in the day, everything was tougher. you actually had to work. you had to pay attention and learn something. there were cerfews and everyone had to listen to the rules.
But look at us now..
We are becoming more selfish, lazy, and rude. You can sit around all day on your couch with your remote, a soda, and a bag of potato chips and make a living like that. They made these things..called exercising machines. We see them, we buy them..then they sit in our basements collecting dust. We are becoming more desperate for money..it's called a job! Something alot of people choose not to get! "Oh how am I ever gonna support my 4 kids, 2 dogs, and husband?" Seriously? Get a job, learn how to cook. I'll admit im lazy too, but if we seriously resort ourself to flying chairs and buttons that control everything, we are just..retarded.

Hmm... There will be some monorail cats, leik this:
We will has to sit on the cat,
The cure to cancer, space ships that can take someone to Mars, estblishing a base on Mars, making a base on one of Juipiter’s moons, moving to Saturn, developing a weapon that can destroy trash, bacteria,or any other unwanted object. So I will be with my cats, and not be a fat slob like in Wall-E.

Something like 3/4 Americans will be obese by then, according to something I heard on NPR. Unless of course our economy/country collapse, but I think we'll be good for a while.
The oceans will be void of life, cancer rates will have increased dramatically, and a large conflict will have occurred/will be occurring (I'm putting my money on the two Koreas fighting it out, with a hedge bet on Palestine and neighbor states fighting Israel).
In terms of technology, maybe electric cars will be commonly used in more developed countries. But flying cars? Hell, they exist, but there's no infrastructure/motivation/MONEY to mass produce them. We'll probably be using more "green" tech, but the effects of global climate change will be felt much more dramatically than they are today.
