FWGRP Story: Chapter 9. The Grass Kingdom

Postby Shadowstar1922 » 31 Jul 2012, 21:05

I continued to fly towards the Government Building, ignoring Seth's screams. I narrowed my eyes to look into the building, trying to find where the meeting took place. I wasn't going to waste my time to check in. I'd rather just crash in.
This is hopeless, I thought. I'll just crash through a window and find my way.
My dark wings slowly disappeared as I grew closer to a window. To my surprise, it was my room. That's convenient. I crashed in, summersualting once I touched the ground. I hit the wall, and bounced back a little. I groaned as I tried to get up.
“You want help?” a voice said.
I looked up to see Samantha was there. She had a snickering face, but also had anger in her eyes.
“So nice to see you again, Chairman” She said in a mocking voice.
“Oh shut up. Where's the meeting room?”
“Where it always is.”
“Thanks.” I ran up to her, and hugged her before dashing off to the meeting room. I slithered through the crowd of doctors, nurses, and patients. I found the room. The sand door had engraved in it, “Meeting Hall”. I smashed through the door, and stopped.
Everyone has their eyes on me, a bit shocked. Some laughed, and others shook their head.

“Ah, Shadowstar. I'm so glad you could make it.” The voice sounded calm, and raspy. I looked at where it came from. It was an odd man in green robes. He has his hands clasped together on the desk, with an emotionless expression on his face.
I stood up as straight as I could be, and gave a fake smile to him.
“Hello, your majesty. How are you on this fine day?” I asked.
“I've been better. How about you?”
“Oh, nothing. Just took a walk, recovering from some injuries.”
“Yah, took a walk alright” muttered a voice. It was Cody. I shot a quick glare at him to shut up.
“So, what does our fine Protector of the Shadow Forest want now?” the man mocked.
“More like the Chairman of the Galactic Federation, your majesty.” I responded.
“How come he doesn't call me majesty?” Aros muttered.
A few people laughed, others smirked. I laughed a bit, walking towards my seat, which was next to Fuipui and Mustache.
Where were you, my friend? A message from Fuipui using common telepathy rang through my head.
I was out, what has happened so far? I responded
Ryokou is being difficult. We've mostly avoided the proposition of having the Grass Kingdom join the Galactic Federation. We've been discussing border lines between the Commonwealths, trade agreements, and support to certain Commonwealths. All we've managed to do was have a trading agreement with the Grass Kingdom. Fuipui said.
As our telepathy talk went on, people just stared at me.
“Ahem, so um, fill me in on the recent decisions made by the Supreme Council.” I ordered.
Aros raised his hand. “We've decided that all Commonwealths of the Galactic Federation shall be provinces in the united lands. Provinces have been teamed up to help each other in times of need. When problems get too complicated, the National Government shall be warned, and United Forces will come to aid. The teamed up provinces will be, Shadow Kingdom and the Shadow Forest, Earth Kingdom and the Scientist Legion, and the Wonderlanders and the Demon Group of Quinten”

“Further more, Bob Juinor has taken the role as Governor of the Shadow Forest, and is planning to civilize the Forest, as well as added territoriy given up by the Shadow Kingdom. A select area of Forest that is Shadowstar's home will be saved. Estimated, only about 40% of the Forests will be taken to be made into cities. “
“Trade agreements have been made between The Shadow Kingdom and the Earth Kingdom, the Earth Kingdom and the Wonderlanders, the Shadow Forest and the Demon Group of Quinten, and the Shadow Kingdom and the Shadow Forest.”
“Going back to Governors, The top leader of each Commonwealth shall serve as Governor of their nation, or now province, and they all have a promised spot in the Supreme Council. And, each Province has the right to have their own form of Government, so the Kingdoms will be able to have their Monarchy, the Shadow Forest will be made a Republic, and the Wonderlanders may keep their traditional tribal government.”
Aros stopped, and took in a deep breath before smiling to me. I raised my hand to signal that I was going to speak.
“All is confirmed by me. All actions will take place in two days. That'll give each Governor enough time to return to their homes. I have something to add. Every week on the Friday, all leaders shall meet up in Earth City, the capital of the Galactic Federation in this very room to inform on all news, good or bad. All who agree say yes.”
And with that word, everyone in the room except Ryokou said yes at the same time. I smiled with that, and I then looked at Ryokou.
“Before this meeting is over, I'd like to propose that the Grass Kingdom join under as a Commonwealth in the Galactic Federation to ensure freedom in FWG from Crimson, and the Crimsen Army. And to also free Crimson from Ghost's dictator rule. Do you agree, Ryo?” I asked, moving forward.
Ryokou closed his eyes and leaned back. “You are young, Shadowstar,” He spoke, “But you are a good leader. It surprises me that you just came in here, and you have already managed to get a grasp of the situation, when I was here from the beginning, and I'm still a bit confused on what has happened, even when Aros re said everything that went on.”
He opened his eyes, and looked deep into me. He smiled, and I stared at him with a straight face.
“The Grass Kingdom shall join the Galactic Federation.” Ryokou said in a slow voice.
I then smiled at him. And he looked at me and nodded. I nodded back.
