A few days ago Israel's Govt. tore-up a 72-hour ceasefire between Hamas saying that Hamas had kidnapped one of their soldiers. Three days on, it turns out said soldier had been a victim in battle and died beside two other comrades, not being kidnapped at all. Accident? Or political stunt to justify their offense?
Casualties since beginning of the conflict stand massively against the Palestinians; suffering 1,700 dead almost all civilians.
Israel however came off the best with only 70 Israeli's losing their lives, with only 3-5 being non military personnel. By these figures I can safely say who looks like the most guilty of war crimes.

Israel is a terrorist state that needs a major government shuffle.
The United Nations needs to send in troops to protect Palestine because this is just disgusting.
We need to return to the 1967 borders and end the 47 year old occupation.

Well I'm inclined to believe that Israel simply staged the whole thing for their benefit.
I mean so many wars MUST mean soldiers got "lost" all the time, yet no one ever asked for a ceasefire thinking they had ONE soldier kidnapped.
Yeah sounds a bit odd to me.

Hamas and Fatah had briefly united together before the recent fighting to represent all Palestinian territories. This would force Israel to begin doing peace talks, withdraw from the West Bank and stop all economic blockades on the Gaza Strip. The United Nations would set their foot down for once and see the peace be brought. And they had started doing so and pressuring Israel and her allies to do so. So Israel started shit again to break the unity between Hamas and Fatah.
So I agree with you, I think it's very likely Israel has been staging this.
