I'm pretty sure this shows Lady Gaga doing vibrato "hardcore". I'ts just the audio from You and I studio version.

That's hilarious without the backing music, sounds like she's singing to herself...

sounds fine to me though, she's a trained singer.

Every singer has trained. No one can sing amazingly and not have trained.

If she practiced, then that kinda counts as being trained.

You can't do anything in the music world without being trained, or practicing, or even teaching yourself if given the notes.

you need to be trained, you need to learn, and you need to practice.

that applies to everything in life - whether you're goat herding or in musical theatre - and Gaga has performed all her life, her voice is simply the product of it. There are many better singers out there but she's not bad.

And i don't think any of them does vocal tricks as much as "autotune".

I saw justin beaver and threw up. And what vocal tricks do they do exactly? Sit, beg, roll over?

Meh, just random artists that will be forgotten in 10-20 years... Max.
Eg...Hanson. Remember hanson? No?
Thought so :P

I know who Hanson is. ._.

Ok look. I won't even start on older bands that basically played music because they liked to, without being trained. Or even better, Mozart was writing/playing music while 6 years old (or so legend has it). He became worldwide famous, and I don't think he trained in some awesome particular way before being 6 years old.

But when we are talking about pop music, in my opinion, we are talking mainly of pop artists that shine for no more than 10 years, and then completely disappear from the music stage. Or so is the vast majority. I believe that's due to our music industry's efforts to create standard role-models for a certain generation of people, but nevermind that.
What does matter, is that anybody and i mean ANYBODY, can make themselves a great pop artist, if they have some great guy to represent them.

Singers in almost every genre of modern music, most of them only shine for around 10 years. Some can't handle the fame, or can't think of something new, or have lost their voice for some reason may it be over straining or just old age, or they just grew tired of the music business and want to spend the rest of their life relaxing.

Only rare aritsts go at it for a long time. And those are the ones who dedicate music to their life. .-.

I'm entirely sure it's not rare for someone to devote their entire life to music.
