What do you think of Footballers/SOCCER PLAYERS being payed more than soldiers?


Personally, I think that it's completely right they're paid more. Soldiers shouldn't be payed at all - war is not something that you should be payed for playing a part in. It's a personal choice if you want to fight and it should be left as that.

I'm pretty sure that someone will think differently, but when we're all ready to start paying murderers, we should start paying soldiers.

(And by soldier, I don't mean aid worker, charity aids in developing countries, I mean everybody who is FIGHTING, not helping.)

Soldiers are payed for obvious reasons:in the past,only men worked.so of they'd go and fight in a war for like Years,would their families starve to death? Same goes for today mostly… Now football players are payed more because so far you don't have a "War Live" programme with intervals every 10 seconds…

Soldiers are not murderers. They are men and women who risk their lives for private reasons that they deem more important than their personal welfare.

Unfortunately, there are not enough of these brave people to defend entire nations, as rival countries sometimes forcefully recruit civilians or have higher populations (therefore more soldiers). As a result, governments offer incentives for other individuals to join the military. In the U.S, the government pays for your college education, and you repay the government with a maximum of 10 years of active service (depending on your time in college). Afterwards, you receive sizable veteran benefits and an advantage in the job market.

There will not be enough soldiers to protect a country if the government does not offer benefits.

People in war should at least be payed a bit more. I'm sure some of them didn't even want to be there. Some of them get sent in because of war aids, and because if there ever was another war, they don't have enough fighters. In some places, men are being drafted over just because there isnt enough support in the armies.
So I think they should get more than what they actually are now..Where as..you shouldn't be payed to play a sport. No offence, but it's actually a dumb Idea. Why would you pay a person to play a sport?! That's ludacris! I mean, people in the army put their lives on the line every single day, yet people in sports usually only play them because they actually wanna be there, and love doing it! Why should you get payed to do something that you could do in your backyard? The only difference is, professional sports make it on tv's and arenas around the world, yet Army men basically stay in one place until they're lucky enough to go back home, if they even do!
Some people in the army get so little pay their family becomes poor. Yet they still cant drop out of the army because they feel it's all they can do that makes enough money At the moment.
I wouldn't pay a professional sports player anything! They do it because they want to! They are letting skills advance. Big whoop. I am on:
