Sorry, I was ahead of myself. But that is the speed required for the star to escape from a black hole. If you are saying we don't know enough about black holes, I see your point.

Here are the basic things that everyone should know...That light cannot escape, they have one of the strongest pulls, and they are dense and can crush anything. Those are the basic things. So, considering this, that star never made it deep enough to get pulled in completely and get crushed by the blackhole. And if it did make it deep enough, that star right now is almost crushed or that star had enough velocity from that pull to get out fast enough before total damage can be done.
