Illegal immigrants "should" be thrown out. But I don't think that would be an easy job.

All of them should be.
Trespassing borders is good enough to get you to prison.
So send them back to their country's prison

meh depends on the country. and also the united states i supposed to be a meling pot. it would be wiser to just make entry to the usa easier. with ONE caveat, if you want to become a citizen you must sign a paper saying that you will not take ANY government handouts and that you will take care of yourself.

my biggest issue with illegals are the ones who come over here and live off welfare. i dont mind someone who comes here to try and work hard and live the american dream. however i would STRONGLY prefer that they go about it in the legal manner but thats difficult enough as it is with a waiting list thats as long as the great wall of china.

They need to be given the choice to go and get their citizenship on a legal sense or be thrown out of the country.

not a simple issue, as there are numerous reasons why someone tries to get into a country. Many times it is simply fleeing from poverty, but other times it is fleeing from persecution. It needs to be assessed on a case by case basis. That way, the legitimate refugees are allowed to stay, and others can be sent packing.
