I have done extensive research on this, and i ssummed it up.
The conflict in Africa, had started when the European countries invaded the Native African Nations, and made them colonies. The colony borders had cut straight through many ethnic lands. The only country that was never conquered, was Ethiopia. In the African Rebellion, which started in 1950, and ended around 1990-2000, All the colonys that the European Nations had lost, became independent.
Since the borders cut straight through ethnic divisions, and the leaders of the African Natiosn were very un organized, Many problems had errupted. Tensions between ethnic groups rouse, and sortages of food since the African Nations couldn't afford food, had formed many wars. There was, the,(data here gotten from Wiki Pedia. Some were left out, becuase of the number of total wars.)
Algerian War, Algerian Civil War, Angolian War of Independence, Anglolian Civil War, Battle of Cuito Cuanavale, Battle Cassinga, Agacher Strip War, Burundi Civil War, Chad Civil Wars 1965-1979, 1979-1982, 1892-2002, 2005-present, Chadian Libyian Conflict, Comorian Sessecion Crisis, 2008 Invasion of Anjouan, Congo.(Brazzavile) Civil War, Kongo Civil War, Simba Rebellion, Shaba Invasions, First and Second Congo War, Kivu Conflict, Mahdist War, Arab-Israli War(1948), Six Day War, Libyan-Egyptian War Ethiopian-Adal War, First and Second Italo-Ethiopian War, 2007-2008 Kenya Crisis, First and Second Liberian Civil Wars, Madagascar Revolt, and a lot more. Estimated, over 170 Wars accured in Africa
If all this turmoil was put into Europe, then there would have been OFFICIALLY a World War III, and maybe a World War IV. TECHNICLY, WW III has already came, and is still going on. The reason why most countries in the world aren't helping Africa, is that the African Governemnt Leaders are to blame, since they aren't tryig as hard to get out of their problems. Most countries feel that they will use the money they give them for their own purposes, or won't spend it responsibly.
There are SOME countries that are doing okay. Like, Kenya, Morocco, and Egpyt get a steady tourism attractiion from wildlife, and cultire. Kenya, has gotten 1 million tourists in the year 2000, and it had slowly grown to a larger number.
South Africa, Gabon, and Angolia have fast growing economies, seeming to not get affected badly from the many wars. The reason why Africa has started so poorly, is becuase Africa is artificial. The Europeans sabatoged any hope for unity in Africa, by drawing lines on a map, cutting right through ethnic and religion borders, which cuased wars, destroying almost all hope of national unity.
