The Music Box
Joe lived in a small house in a neighborhood full of Joes. One day, he saw that the wall was peeling off. he pulled it off to reveal a door. spiders crawled on the floor and came from a hole in the door.
Joe opened the door slowly, There was a dusty room full of SNES games, N64 games, and even old cell phones. But one Item caught his eye. It was a small music box. A faint melody was playing. It was Twinkle Twinkle Little star.
In his confusion, he grabbed the music box, shut the door behind him when he left the room, and watched TV. There seemed to be the disappearance of a house in the Joe neighborhood. Joe was Alarmed, So he went to his small room.
The Tune from the music box was getting...lower pitched...each step he took, a house disappeared. The tune got darker, and slightly creepier. Spiders suddenly rushed out of the music box and crawled to the abandoned room.
after that, the walls started to melt. horrified, he ran to the room, grabbed a knife, faced the music box, then stabbed it 49 times. the music box broke. a sigh of relief. However, the music box was playing. He locked the door, barricaded it, then went back to his normal life.
I am the man who owned the music box.

Killer Birthday
It was a bright sunny day, and Nikona was walking home from school alone. Normally she would be afraid of the run down house she had to walk past every day, but today she was too excited to worry. Today was her birthday and her parents had been planning a huge surprise for her all month! As she walked past the decrepit old place she felt like she was being watched and as she looked up she saw something in the window of that awful building. Something w/ bright yellow-green eyes and . . . fangs?! Naturally she ran the rest of the way home screaming. She burst into the house yelling for her parents, but no one answered. “They must be out getting the rest of my surprise ready” she thought happily. One hour passed, and then another… after five hours of being home alone she was beginning to get worried. She heard a knock on the door and ran down the stairs hoping it was party guests, but when she opened the door, no one was there. She went to go back inside when something nailed to the door caught her attention. It was a note that said: If you ever want to see your friends or family again, you will come to the little house on the corner in five minutes sharp! No later or it’s all over. . .
A shiver tingled her spine as she read the note over and over realizing that “the little house on the corner” was that creepy old house she was so petrified of. She had to go though, what choice did she have? So she ran down the street to the house and pushed open the creaky gate, walking cautiously up to the door she raised her fist to knock, but before she could the door swung open. “Hello?” she called inside, but received no answer so she gingerly entered the door slamming shut behind her! She, being the jumpy girl she was, ran into another room and shut the door hoping whoever or whatever had slammed the front door wasn’t going to follow her. As she turned around someone was standing in front of her w/ a hockey mask and a chain saw! She ran away screaming and bumped right into a ghost! Everywhere she turned there was some creepy looking character staring at her. . . Witches, ghosts, clowns, vampires. . . She was terrified! Then they all started laughing. . . “What’s so funny!?” she shouted. A hand grabbed her shoulder making her jump, she spun around to face another monster, but it wasn’t a monster, it was her dad. “Happy birthday Niko” he said w/ a smile. Everyone behind her shouted “surprise!” “B-but the face in the window earlier and the note” Nikona stammered. Her mother looked at her in confusion “What face in the window? We only got her a little over an hour ago to set up and we sent your brother home to get you, not a note.” Everyone jumped when they heard the crashing noise at the front entry way and then the scream . . . Everyone was supposed to be in the game room. . . The person who had been wearing the hockey mask began to laugh an eerie laugh as the doors flew open and more chainsaw wielding masked men entered the room.
The first started up his chainsaw and as he approached Nikona he sneered and replied w/ a cold, flat tone “Now the fun begins.”
That was one Birthday that really was a scream of a time. . .

Re: Horror Stories
Insanity
The darkest thoughts lie inside of us. Sleeping, waiting. Waiting for the moment in which to crawl out...and consume us.
Lucinda, a mother of two, happily married to her husband Nicholas. They lived an average life, in an average home. Her family lived happy lives, never expecting anything to ever change. Never expecting anything to happen. One night, everything had changed. Her son, Jonathan. Had met a new friend. This friend was quite peculiar, never appearing during cloudless days, always in the shade. Long dark hair covered his pale face. No one knew what the boys name was, or whether or not he was real. Johnathan, being the curious 6 year old he was. Decided to befriend him. Unknowingly, Jonathan invited the darkest of demons into his life.
Months passed by, normal life continuing. Johnathan's new friend had disappeared long ago though. Slowly his friend passed out of his mind. Fading away. Slowly but surely. This was a mistake. For his friend, was a creature. Long ago he was a little boy, this little boy was tormented, by his family, his "friends", and anyone else who wanted to join the bandwagon. This boy was buried alive and forgotten. Slowly, the boy rotted, as did his heart. Never passing on, only wanting to make others remember him. He interacted with the local folk. Hoping, wishing. But now, he realized what is happening. His "friend" is forgetting about him. "What type of friend does that? Friend? What are "friends"?" The boys soul questioned itself...over...and over....and over again. Finally...after months of rotting even further....he snapped....."Friends are....Infidels".
His emotions, everything he ever felt. Exploded. Rushing in around innocent little Johnathan, not knowing what he had down wrong. Corrupting him. Everything, was stripped away from Johnathan, he felt the pain of the unknown boy. He felt the hatred, the rage. Johnathan Snapped.
Laughing hysterically, Johnathan found a knife. In the darkness of the night he crept upstairs. "Nobody will ever forget me again. Nobody.". The words repeated throughout the house that night. Over...and over....and over again. With each step up the stairs Johnathan laughed. He laughed and laughed. No longer innocent little Johnathan. His plan was great. It was perfect.
Johnathan his sister of age 16 up. "Whats wrong?" Clarissa said. Johnathan smiled at her. He slashed her neck, carefully dodging anything that would allow her a quick death, he cut her vocal chords. "Don't scream sis". Johnathan Tied Clarissa to the bed. "Don't worry, everything's all right. You'll remember everything". Johnathan began. He slit open Clarissa stomach and chest. He carefully moved her organs out of her body. "Look sis. Your insides". He gruesomely smiled at her as she silently screamed and cried in agony. "Awww...you're crying, let me fix that." He ripped a piece of wood off of Clarissa's bed. Johnathan smiled at Clarissa as he violently stabbed her left eye with the little piece of wood in his hand. He smiled as she thrashed around on the bed trying to scream. Only silence could be here from her throat. "Maybe she will see my pain now Johnathan".
