I think feminism is just as bad as what you'd call our culture now, You don't want equality you want everything in favor of Women.
Almost all if not all of feminism points can be the same for males
eg:

The feminist won't complain about someone calling someone a dick tho? Only a pussy.

If your biggest problem is someone stereotyping you, You've a good life.
I don't mind an equal gender thingy but feminism isn't the answer,
If you want Equal gender life then Have one, Stereotyping ISN'T non-gender equality as it happens to BOTH genders.

Okay, really quick, short, simple.

The idea of feminism, is that men and women are equal in all aspects of society, the economy, the work enviroment, at home, on the streets, legally, federally, etc. If you believe this, then you are a feminist.

If there are people who use feminism to give more power to women and ignore men's unneeded stereotypes, and hate men, then whoop-de-fucking-do, you're not a feminist.

Does that make sense?

Women who hate and degrade men may call themselves a feminist, but they don't fit the definition, since they're discriminating and stereotyping men.

Because women face the most discrimination compared to both genders. And, Laci Green, in the gifs, fought against male circumcision and how men should decide if they want skin from their penis being cut off or not. In America, they don't have that choice. She also fights against the male stereotype that men shouldn't show emotion or empathy. She has a whole youtube channel, you can't judge her for just a select amount of gifs.

If you want to make feminism fight fore men's rights and equality and to destroy the male social stereotypes then by all means become an artist and an activist and make those more clear if you feel they aren't being expressed as much.

rape joke isn't really a fucking joke. when you make a rape joke in public, others may laugh. one of those may be a rapist. he would empthaize with you and feel a connection, feel similar to you. do you want to be likened to a rapist?

it's also a trigger. people who have been raped sometimes mentally cannot take the joke. when you make a rape joke, a technicolour movie starts up in their head. they relive every second of their worst memory in that instant. and you caused it because you thought you could be funny

What abiout the Steubenville rape case? A girl was intoxicated with alcohol at a party and two sixteen year olds, the predators, were arrested. then, the focus of the media was on the lost careers of the boys, who aspired to be footballers. they felt sorry for the boys, even though they were who committed a terrible crime. the girl was hardly mentioned.

i don't get this point. many people in our society practically live on the internet. this meme is, essentially promoting rape

rape culture is closely tied to gender equality but not in every way. i never said this was entirely about gender equality. the topic itself is supposed to be mainly about rape culture..

lines such as "i know you want it" imply forced sex

the jokes etc simply make rape seem like less of a crime meaning that they ARE more likely to do it

Listen, bub, the fact here is the more people make rape jokes, the more people desensitize to rape. Rape doesn't become something serious, it becomes something comical. People start thinking "Hey, everyone makes rape seems pretty funny. Maybe I'll go try it out." But then they do and even as their victim is sobbing, half naked on the floor, they still think it's funny. Why? Because society taught them that it is funny.
