Last Days of Summer Competition

Hi everyone!

I know the competitions haven't been running for a few months now, but they are back with a vengeance...I'm starting us off again with a quick competition in which you'll win another awesome exclusive medal and bragging rights for winning.

It's the last few days of summer - so I want you to post either a story, picture (with caption), or poem that captures your best memories of the summer. Whether you spent it on here with your friends, on a holiday abroad or just visiting your grandparents the best memory will win!

It's not about the most amazing place you visited but rather the one which is the most heartfelt and loving. Sounds soppy but get posting!

It closes on 1st September - when summer is well and truly over. The winner will be announced the following day!

This picture represents the perfect sunset of summer. For some background information, if the entire sky turned into nice orange, about 30 minutes or so before sunset? Due to the storm clouds, better pictures were taken at the Cincinnati Reds game going, if you google "Cincinnati Orange Sky"

During the recent days of summer,
We had great fun,
So much in fact we were in a stun.
Now that summer's gone, it's such a bummer.

Now that summer's gone,
We're all back to school,
No longer acting like a fool.
Now We wake up for school at dawn!

Now we're going into the cold seasons,
Where jackets are worn in class,
And we still can't give the teacher sass.
Not allowed to commit any treasons.

My caption? These are the days of our lives

If you get the reference I'm making then good for you, if not then whatever. This picture was literally my last weekend of summer, when bad things in life were so few. The sun was always shining, we just lived for fun These people made my summer one of the best I ever had and I can never thank them enough. I miss you summer!
