that feeling when you read something that makes you realise that russia is doing what north korea does/did - making laws that other countries will find humorous (in north korea i think the haircut rules) so as to distract them from the fact that the citizens are having their free speech rights slowly taken away

russia doesn't make these memes, western culture does
