I was looking so hard for this I thought i read it In an article. Anyway I really believed Drake in this case. And he apologized numerous times. Apologies don't always make it okay, but this whole.thing makes sense if you know the Episode Reference

if his intention was referencing his show, he would've explained that. he didn't. he said something transphobic, got hate, probably realized what he said was hurtful, and realized it and apologized.

I have no problem with Caitlyn Jenner herself, but when stuff like the Arthur Ashe Courage Awards happens, that's what grinds my gears.
"Recipients reflect the spirit of Arthur Ashe, possessing strength in the face of adversity, courage in the face of peril and the willingness to stand up for their beliefs no matter what the cost," yes Caitlyn Jenner almost certainly meets this requirement. But I don't think that she beats Noah Galloway or Lauren Hill.
“But Lauren’s journey was not about glamour or publicity. It was just a girl who never gave up her dream of playing college basketball while she was dying of cancer, and along the way she raised millions of dollars for pediatric cancer. That is why I feel that she is deserving of the award.”
Noah Galloway lost an arm and a leg during the Iraq War yet he still competes in adventure races.
Lauren Hill lost her life, Noah Galloway his arm and leg, Caitlyn Jenner her balls(?).
Long story short, I feel like one of these 2 other people deserved the award more than Caitlyn did.

I don't even think she even lost that. Actually, I'm far from being an expert on transgender stuff, but it seems like a lot of transgenders just take hormones, and sometimes get silicon pumped into them and/or take steroids. I don't think they usually go under the knife or anything.

ok but noah galloway isn't an athlete and this award is only for athletes so. but your other points (i dont agree with) are good and i respect them bc you're bringing in other athletes who have gone through incredibly rough times. so yeah we can debate about those all we want, all deserved it, maybe one over the other but who's to decide except the people who give the award out. @Icamel. Jenner went through a sex change. She not longer has male genitalia, but female genitalia.

The thing is, courage isn't quantifiable. Lauren Hill was already honored with a different award. Honestly, the whole award show is just to fill a slow period in programming; it's not like it's a Nobel prize or anything.
 For trying.

Cait is absolutely STUNNING. How am I supposed to compete with that?
