listen i think abortion is just plain wrong, i think its sick. it is one of the most terrible things i have ever had the misfortune of hearing about. it is ridiculous for ANYONE to have an abortion in the exception of incest. anything else is murder. think about it, if franks parents would have aborted him, there would be no fwg.

if you have an abortion all i can say is may god have effing mercy on your soul you pathetic nuisance to the earth. considering rape, wtf did the baby do? im aware you didnt do anything but dear lord, put it up for adoption.

How are you gonna say it's wrong in all reasoning besides incest? You're telling me it's better to let the mother & child die by carrying out of the first trimester if that'd be the case, instead of just having this alien form that doesnt make an impact on the world as we know it be aborted before it's killed anyway or comes to this f'd up existence. It's almost unfair to bring a child into this world the way things are going

Sure I read it but that's simply your opinion & it's only a life if you think of it as such, it has no emotion,no thought & while living in another being even though this sounds very wrong it's a parasite. Now I know that remark will probably get some tempers fired up & that's not my intent but everybody is always so close minded & stubborn on their beliefs of this topic there is no room for rationality, A child is no joke & in some cases like rape or incest it's a constant reminder for a mother of what happened to them & its takin out on the child while it eats away at the mother. I'd just like to think that ppl could see this from the thousands of angles that this provides instead of just one That being taking a life

This is a touchy topic so.....Of course I'm puttin my 2 cents in XD I only agree to Abortion in a few cases.
1. Rape
2. Incest
3. A Mothers death in carrying to full term
4. Babies havin babies(Kids of 13-15 just shouldnt try and be parents)

Most of the boys in school probably said yes because of some of these terms or they're truly heartless & Most always a female says no but they reconsider most of the time or atleast think about it for 1-3 & girls are always supposed to say no when asked that question cause they've been taught that it's the only acceptable answer until it's a real question they need to concern themselves with. But unless it's 1-4 carry it and raise it or give it up for adoption if you're unfit to be a parent

Incest: First off, we all know hillbilly's have sex with each other and inbreed. But, you can prevent this if your father/mother is sexually abusing you. TELL SOMEONE!

Mother's Death if carrying full term: My mother almost died with me in her womb, so they did a C-section. If they did not do it, I and my mother would not be alive. There's a way a mother and the baby could always live.

Kids having babies: You can prevent this... Make the guy wear a mother f***ing condom! That's what they're made for! It's the most 2nd most affective way to not get pregnant. The best way not to get pregnant, DON'T HAVE SEX!

You can't always stop incest. Just one incident can result in pregnancy. I wouldn't blame a 13 year old girl for if her father threatened to kill her if she told. Both mothers and children can't always be saved, as well. There is never a 100% chance of a successful delivery, and C-sections can't change that. That is an interesting perspective on rape, and I could agree with you on that. And yes, I do blame those lazy bums for not using birth control.

just a quick interjection here.
condoms are not birth control for real. They are disease control.
As they're one of the least effective ways as a means for birth control but one of the most effective for disease control.

It's a difficult one, naturally.

If you are pro-choice completely, then the logic often leads you having to accept infanticide (killing newborn babies) or the killing of the mentally handicapped as ok.

If you are pro-life (which is a stupid name for anti abortionists) completely, then you shouldn't accept cases of rape, or the mother's health, or even contraception as legitimate excuses.

For me abortion is something that must be decided on a case by case basis.

It's such an enormous question as to whether a bad life is better than no chance at life at all. One that won't be answered on this forum.

Having said that, I still think a conversation is still beneficial.

Just suspend your own opinions, and look at the facts.

You might not know it, but you're doing philosophy by taking part in this discussion.

I have a story that's kinda related to abortion.
Well, atm, I have 1 sister who is turning 21 yrs old. Her name's Rosemary. In the past, my mum had two miscarriages. Both were girls and died before they were born.
Here's the thing:

1st child: Miscarriage

2nd child: Rosemary is born

3rd child: Miscarriage

4th child: Me!

Yeah, so my mum wanted two kids. If the 1st child and rosemary were born, the 3rd child and me would've not existed.
