The rock music topic...

Postby Shadow00 » 27 May 2012, 08:48

Yes, only for rock songs. And that ranges between punk rock all the way to psychedelic rock... So, what type of music do you listen to, what's your favorite rock band and how did you start listening to them?
For example, I prefer classic rock (psychedelic rock isn't too far behind), my favorite band's pink floyd and I started listening to them after their Live8 concert in 2005. So, what about you peeps?

(nowadays' boy bands are not considered rock. In fact, idk what they are considered...

I just listen to whatever comes on the local rock station. I'm not a big fan of classic rock, just because I don't really like many of it's melodies. My favorite band is the Red Hot Chili Peppers, because they've got all kinds of songs ranging from punk to some odd alternative that manage to sound great. And Flea plays a rocking bass. I think I started listening to them after I heard "Heavy Glow" for the first time- my friends and I tried guessing what the two syllable, unintelligible lyrics were (steaknife...bloodbath....ribcage.... etc).

I also really like Linken Park from what I've heard of them, I like me some Bush, 5 Finger Death Punch is just too screamo, Korn is interesting, Shine Down is cool, some Chevelle.
Image For trying.
